Conussions

When you think of the NFL, you think of big, buff men hitting each other just for a ball. Most people don't think of the NFL and think of concussions. Concussions are a huge part of not only the NFL, but also the NHL.

Not only do athletes get concussions in football, they also get concussions playing hockey as well. Yes, in both of the sports you are wearing a helmet, but that doesn't mean that you are protected from injury.

They have been recent reports that some NFL players are have struggles from a concussion after his career is over.  Some of these players have tried to sue the league because of what symptoms they are having because of all the hits they take.

I would say that having a concussion is a pretty huge deal for someone who is in the businesses of hitting people around and getting money for it.

Here is an article for more information about a football player still recovering from a concussion over seven years later: http://www.rollingstone.com/culture/features/begin-again-ethan-johnsons-post-concussion-life-20140905
